  Mount Fuji Flower Festival, also known as The Fu Shibozakura Festival or Fu Shibazakura Matsuis one of the most popular Festival, takes place at 3 kilometers South of Kake Motosuko in the Fuji Five Lakes area at near at the base of Mt. Fujit’s a Festival of Flowers and you will be amazed to see about 8000000 Shiba Sakura covering 24 hectors of land. It is country’s largest Sbazakura festival. 



   Shiba Sakura is a flower which grows in about 1.5 cm diameter during acril to May in and pink, purple and white colors. Visitors gets to see Shibazakura (Pink Moss) in the vastfields of Shihazakuca, offers a breaktaling er, You will be amazed to see the fields of pink, white and purple with the backdrop of Mount Fuji. There are 8 kinds of Shiba-Salura in the Fuji Shibasakura Eestbares of Flowers include during Festival is McDaniel’s Cushion (Dark Pink Petals), Mont-Blanc white petals, Yellow leaves), Autumn Rose (Pink Petals). Tama-no- Pink petals with white borders). Dakiogloo Blue-Eyes (dark red purple petals), Giant Rose (Rose Petals Scarlet Frame (Pink Petals) and Little Dot (white Petals). There is an observatory where you can the entire festival area with MI Fuji snow in the background. There is a nice  foot bath known as the Panorama foot bath offers you to soak your feet in hot water while enjoying the breathtaking view. 


There is also ML. Fuji Food festival takes place at the same time, where you can enjoy wide variety of delicious food, 2020 Dates Mount Fuji Flower Festival takes places typically during Mid April Through early June From Saturday April 18, 2020 to Sunday May 31 2020. Subject to change due to Flowering Coaditos Junios 8:00 to 17:00 depending on the flowering conditions. Hours can be changed.


Best Time to visit :

Due to crowds, its advisable not to visit Flower Festival during weekends and Holidays. The best time see ablazaka here is between late April and the first week of May..is advisable to visit early in the morning but if you like to take great photograph, its best in the Afternoon time. The roads around the site can become extremely crowded during the Fuji Shibasakus Festival.Please use public transportation trains, buses) as much as possible. 


If you want to view shibazakura in full bloom is advisable to go there during golden week

Getting there : 

To directly reach the Fuji Sulbazakura Festival site, your best bet is the Chuo Highway bus from the Shinjuku bus station. All other bus lines will drop you of in town,

where you can take a local bus to the Fuji Festival.

If you are coming from Tokyoto take this exclusive bus ride from Tokyo’s Shinjuku expressway bus farminal to the festivalit takes about 2 hours and 25

minutes and it is only available during the festival time
